Weird Animals week at VBS! I was a crew leader so I got to see and experience everything with Owen and Eli, including witnessing Owen's prayer in front of all 600 kids and volunteers for snack on Wednesday. I'm so proud of him!! They boys all had a great time and learned so much about Jesus' love for them. They are already asking when VBS will be next year!

Our gingerbread train was a big hit. The boys kept squealing every time they put on a new decoration and giggled the whole time. They worked together as a team and shared the pieces really well too, a big improvement from last year! Dylan was content to just watch them decorate, but wanted in on the action when it came time to sample. I love the video of him when I asked him to share : )

What a great week with Grandma Fox! We had gorgeous weather all week so there was plenty of time for baseball and golf, feeding ducks at the duck pond, going to the Fort Worth Stock Show to see the animals and hiking. The boys mentioned several times that they wanted Grandpa to come visit too - so do we! Come back soon Grandma, we miss you already!

Here's 'The Daddy Song' that they boys swapped in Grandpa for Daddy. You'll have to reference the Dad's breakfast post to hear all the words (instead of Garrett yelling 'I love my Grandpa (dapt-da)' eleven times!) but it's the thought that counts : )
