Trish and I took the kids to Nash Farm in Grapevine and met up with Janice and her kids too. Trish and Janice were good friends in Pittsburgh, then Janice moved to Dallas, so when we were moving to Dallas, Trish gave me her contact info and the rest is history! Trish and Janice haven't seen each other in almost three years, so it was a lot of fun to get all the kids together for a morning at the farm. It was less fun in the 100+ degree heat, but we'll take what we can get in Texas in the summer.
The kids saw the chicken coop, rode a tractor/wagon, learned about cotton plants and got to water the garden... all for $1! Gotta love cheap entertainment : )
