I've been busy the last couple days! Check out all the baby food that came from 5 plums, 2 sweet potatoes, 5 apples, 1 butternut squash and 2 cans of unsweetened peaches! (I decided to save the kiwi to put in one of those mesh feeders for the boys to gnaw on instead of turn it into babyfood because I found out that you can't freeze kiwi.)2 sweet potatoes = 28 meals
2 cans of peaches = 27 meals
5 plums = 23 meals
1 butternut squash = 30 meals
5 apples = 20 meals
For breakfast this morning we went through 3 tablespoons of rice cereal, 2 servings of peaches, 2 serving of bananas (pre-made) and 1 leftover serving of squash. Good thing I'm making it, which is so much more economical... these boys are going to eat us out of house and home!! Just to satisfy my curiosity, I did the math. I paid $13.68 for the groceries, got 128 meals out of it, which comes down to $0.10 per meal!

I'm totally impressed, Beth! It's satisfying to save $$, AND have a sense of independence, AND know exactly what your kids are eating, without any preservatives...
