In the words of my brother, we have a couple of 'Nerdasauruses!' So far, they have T-Rex, Triceratops, Stegosaurus (the way they say this one is our personal favorite), Parasaurolophus and Iguanadon down. Not too shabby!

This video is mostly for my sister and my mom, but Charlie and I got a kick out of Owen's little voice saying Aunt Elise, Uncle Kirk, Blake and Asher. Thankfully, we're finally getting to the stage where the boys will remember people from one visit to the next!

The combination of the LeapFrog letters toy and Super Why must be really effective teaching tools! Eli brought me two letters the other day and said U and O as he handed me the right letters. I didn't even know that he knew them! They are up to about 10 letters now, and here are some of their favorites...

A few months ago, Owen's most frequently used word was 'uh-oh'. That has somehow morphed into 'oh no!' and is used all the time in every situation. Actually, they both use it all the time and in rapid succession. This thunderstorm was the perfect time to catch it on video. Eli is in the green and white shirt and is the more vocal one in this particular video, but Owen was really into the rain too.

One of Owen's most favorite activities right now is taking a bath. If you ask him a) Do you want to take a bath? or b) What time is it? his response is always 'Ba?' He even says it like a question! No matter what he's doing, if you ask him if he wants to take a bath, he runs to the bathtub asking 'ba?' over and over again. At least five times during the day, if I even step foot in the bathroom he'll come running up behind me asking 'ba?' until I turn off the light and tell him he has to wait until later to take a bath. He's been dealing with the disappointment of not taking six baths a day pretty well so far : )
