We're on our way to Pittsburgh!! It's a LONG two days of driving, but it's always worth it once we get there. And I've never met four more capable and cooperative young travelers. These boys are CHAMPS!

This was one of the video's from our time in Pittsburgh - Owen, Eli, Garrett and Andrew going cRaZy for bubbles! They would stand perfectly still until I would blow the bubbles and then it was all over. At one point Owen grabs a bat to start swinging at the bubbles and Andrew almost gets clocked over the head... time to end the video!

The Carnegie Museum of Natural History was a big hit - all those dinosaur bones! And I have to say, they were really cool! For Eli, the highlight was the lower jaw of the sperm whale, of course. We finished off the morning with lunch at Fuel and Fuddle, one of my favorite restaurants in Pittsburgh.

Taking the boys on a transportation tour of Pittsburgh - riding the T and the incline. They thought it was so cool to go under the streets and across the bridges, and thought it was especially cool to ride a train up a hill. Talk about a gorgeous day in the city!

While Charlie was hiking the MegaTransect, Kim and I took our kids out to breakfast and apple picking for the morning and they loved it! It was a little tricky keeping them from eating every apple that they picked, but in the end we took home a whole bag full of whole apples. There's nothing like an apple fresh from the tree!

Eight little boys under the age of five and no fights, blood or time outs - not too bad! Becky and Trish were both able to get together while I was in town and it was so great to see them both and let our kids get to know each other too. We don't see each other nearly often enough : (
