Owen can walk!! At most, he has taken 10 steps at a time, but he's getting better at stopping to balance himself every day. It seems like he's more persistant about figuring it out than Eli, who will and has taken steps, but only about 5 at a time and much less frequently. I know that so many people told me to disuade them from walking for as long as possible (as life would become much harder once they could walk), but I think it's so exciting to watch them toddle around! And I think in twin-land, their ability to walk will make some things much easier instead of more challenging. I can't wait!

Yay Owen! There is something SO very exciting about watching babies walk for the first time.
From experience, I will say that it gets more stressful when they both want to walk, especially pre-stability, because you can't protect them BOTH from hitting their heads on the sidewalk or floor or whatever. When we let the twins run loose (outside of their play yards), we call them Free-Range Chickens. It works one at a time or with two "guardians."
Then, when they start running, they'll be able to run in opposite directions. I'm not looking forward to that one!
