Time is flying by and taking its good ol' time at the same time. Every day that goes by I feel like I have more contractions, though nothing consistent like last week. The doc did an ultrasound on Monday and the baby's head is locked and loaded in the right spot. He also thinks that since I've been having quite a few contractions that it's not likely for me to hit 40 weeks. I'm not sure what that means exactly, but I think they are going to check things out this coming Monday to see if there's any movement in the right direction. I've been in a nesting mood lately, dying to get the nursery put together, assembling the baby swing, washing all the newborn clothes and blankets and incessently cleaning the kitchen. I know that the baby would benefit from a couple more weeks of cooking, but my goodness, it's hot in Texas! Though the heartburn is getting really bad, I haven't been swelling at all so far and my BP is staying in a strong and healthy range. This little man has some strong legs and I'm fairly certain that if we don't let him come out soon he's going to bust out my side. There aren't many more opportunities for belly pictures... so enjoy these while you can! 34 weeks seems like so long ago!
