We're heading home! It was such a strange sensation to realize that we could leave the hospital with Garrett instead of having to come back for him a couple weeks later. He is still so new I can't believe that they let anyone leave with babies this young! I guess that's the norm though, and we're excited that we got to experience it. Garrett slept the whole way home and for a few more hours after that. Poor little guy was pretty wiped out from his circ that morning. He's doing great though, and we're all adjusting to having a new baby in the house again. When Charlie picked the boys up from Jackie's where they were napping so we could get discharged, Owen came running around the corner smiling and pointing, saying 'Baby Get!'... Eli came running around the corner, stopped dead in his tracks when he saw me holding the baby, burst into tears and went running back to Charlie. This will be an adjustment : )

Welcome to the world Garrett!! Congratulations Beth! What an awesome treat to bring him home! I have been saying all along that I have never had to experience taking care of a newborn before! My boys came home from the hospital as one month olds, so it will be a whole different ballgame! Best of luck to you guys as you find your new groove! We'll be right where you are soon enough!
Cutie! Let us know when we can bring you dinner and come play with the boys. Reese and Riley would love it (me too)!
