Charlie and I took the boys on our first overnight road trip this weekend to visit his Grandma in Lancaster County, PA. They slept the entire drive to and from Lancaster (which was about 4 hours, plus a one hour stop to feed them) and did a great job while we were there. They got to meet a few more members of Charlie's family and we were able to enjoy a relaxing time in a corner of the country where it seems that time almost stands still. It was a great trip and a good way to ease into traveling with babies. Grandma, on the left, has Eli in the grey. Great Aunt Mary has Owen in the red.
Uncle Dan loved having babies around too and dove right into holding the boys. Eli wasn't so sure at first, but Uncle Dan won him over.
