Baby Einstein is ridiculous! This one in particular, since most of it isn't even in English! It's a DVD that sings nursery rhymes in various languages, while playing clips of shapes or toys or animals that have nothing to do with the song being sung. For example, they could at least show a lamb while singing Mary Had a Little Lamb... in German, but no, they show a ball rolling down a slide, or worse, black and white circles that don't even move, giving no indication of what they are talking about if you don't recognize the song. Nonsense! But a genius idea for the millionaire who came up with the series.
Here's Eli, totally engaged in the sounds and shapes in front of him. Yet another reason why Baby Einstein is ridiculous! 7 weeks old and totally mesmerized.

Hi Beth! I totally agree about Baby Einstein. I was never a fan. I did like the Praise Baby series. Jamie adored them and I liked that the music was praise music. Same concept, just better (in my opinion).

BETH!! PRAISE BABY!! it is so much better, as Erin says. you can get them at WalMart, or online. forget the baby Einstein, & go with the best praise/worship songs, your little guys will love it. Laureen
