Owen was born with something called Torticollis. From what I understand, it's nothing that physical therapy can't fix, which we start on Wednesday, but basically it's a tightness in the neck that results in shorter muscles on that side. When the muscles are shorter, the range of motion is less, hence why physical therapy should help. I've been reading up on some 'home therapy' that we can do, including more tummy time and facing him in the direction of something that he'd want to look at so he'll turn his neck to stretch it out himself (which is hard to do when he is just starting to hold eye contact, let alone be entertained by anything he's looking at!).
Tummy time was a bust today...
But Oprah was a huge hit!
