I heard Owen over the monitor struggling during his nap the other day. He was trying desperately to free his arms from the swaddle, which he usually does, only to realize that he likes being swaddled much better than he likes being free. Well, when I went into check on him, I realized why he wanted his hands free - he had just discovered how good they taste! The cutest thing is that he'll hold his hand in a fist and lick it over and over as if it's an ice cream cone. He hasn't figured out yet how to use this new trick to calm himself down, but for now, even if it's only for cuteness purposes, I'm glad he found it.
