"You pack the car, I'll handle Puppy and Froggy Bottom. Don't worry, I have them under control."
We're on our way home for Christmas! After being pelted with 8 inches of snow in Danbury and waiting out the storm, we decided to still make a break for Lancaster (our half way point) on Friday night. We left CT at 6:45pm and drove less than 30 mph all the way to NYC. The highways were the worst we have ever seen them and there were abandoned cars everywhere. The road was basically like driving on icy gravel and cobblestone because of all the snow that had fallen off cars and refroze to the road. It was trecherous! We made it though, 6 hours later (a trip that should have taken 3.5).
