We drove to Fort Worth again today to check out a few attractions that we missed the first time we went. One of them was the Fort Worth Water Gardens, 'an urban gorge and cooling oasis' in the midst of the downtown landscape. It was amazing - and at 100 feet below street level, the water was much more relaxing to listen to than the cars up above.
Afterwards we headed to the Historic Stockyards to look around. For any of you Pittsburghers out there, it's kind of like Station Square with a cowboy twist. And how can you pass up a photo opportunity like this?!

Hmmm...."station square with a cowboy twist"? Sounds interesting! We haven't made it out to Fort Worth yet, but maybe we'll have to check it out! Looks like fun:-)
