Tummy time is going a little better these days. The new pediatrician said that we should try to build their back strength before starting rice cereal, so he recommended 5-10 minutes of tummy time 5-10 times a day. That's a lot for little babies with no back strength to speak of yet! It's also a lot for me, who doesn't like to listen to them crying that often every day! We shoot for 5 minutes 3-4 times a day right now and try hard to distract them the whole time. They can make it through the 3 minute mark before they start breaking down... and then there is no recovering until the timer buzzes and we pick them up (I know! I'm a little legalistic about the 5 minute thing!). Here's a cute shot of the boys pre-breakdown. The mirror works wonders!
