I think it's funny that parents are so quick to buy the latest and greatest toys for their babies - especially when they are perfectly content with colored plastic rings. I think that this is the current favorite toy - good thing so many come in a package. We have them everywhere - in the diaper bag, the carseat, attached to the exersaucer, near the booster seats... I think I even found them in my pocket once! Owen's new favorite trick is trying to fit the whole thing in his mouth and stick his tongue out at the same time...

The simple toys really are the best! I stopped carrying a ton of things in my diaper bag a few months ago - the only toy in there now is a set of stacking barrels. And Jack is amused with them for a really long time! I guess the basic things really are that good.
