We made it to Michigan! My sister and I traveled with our four kids from Pittsburgh to Dearborn in record time, and it was a surprisingly easy trip. We've been doing so many fun things here, including Greenfield Village (like Williamsburg where the workers walk around in costume and act like they live in Colonial times, but without the roller coasters).

Eli freaked out when he saw the giant ram. Lately, he's afraid of any animal once he sees it move or hears it. Kittens and puppies included. (see pic 2) We got to see the print shop, the tin smith, the glass blowers, the wool spinners and the working farms too. As for the trains, the Roundhouse (where they transfer trains to different tracks) is one of only five in the country. It's just like it looks in Thomas! We're planning to head back later this week to check out the Model T cars. The carousel was a huge hit too, even for the babies who couldn't ride on the animals.
