Saturday was a day for the record books. After checking out of the beach house, we headed to Tim and Pam's house for BBQing, ping pong and playing in the pool. Aunt Pam treated me to a pedicure too! Uncle Tim, Aunt Pam, Mikey, Charlie, the boys and I packed up and headed towards Cabrillo National Monument on Point Loma - my favorite place in all of San Diego. Charlie had never been before and I was so excited to show it to him. Unfortunately, we arrived at 5:05 and it closed at 5pm. Bummer! We headed to Old Towne instead, which was very cool too, before heading to the marina for a ride on their yacht. We toured up and down the coast of the downtown area and the naval base - quite a view at night even though the pictures are more artsy than clear!
