My poor baby! We have been scared for months of the boys standing in the bathtub. They are so slippery and unsteady, and when you add water and soap to the equation, you're just asking for trouble. But they have been so much steadier on their feet lately, and Owen has been walking 6-8 steps in a row on multiple occassions (video to follow soon!) that I let down my guard during bath time tonight.

In my defense, Eli was crying because he was rubbing the shampoo that was in his hair into his eyes, so I laid him down to rinse off his head. As I had both hands on Eli, Owen stood up, took a few steps and hit full force into the edge of the tub with his cheek. No sound even came out at first because he was crying so hard. I couldn't tell where he hit and was frantically searching his mouth for blood when I watched the purple bruise form on his cheek bone. He sucked down the Tylenol and needed some quality cuddle time, but I think he's doing ok now.
