What a productive day! If I was 9 months pregnant (or pregnant at all for that matter!) I would have thought I was nesting today for all the cleaning and organizing I accomplished! In addition to assembling the highchairs, I also cleaned and stored the boosters they had been using, consolidated all of the pack n play accessories into one box from two, lowered Eli's crib and changed crib sheets and disassembled and packed up both baby mobiles. I'm ready for bed! It was time to upgrade to the bigger highchairs though, especially since the boys got a real kick out of rocking back and forth in their boosters and practically tipping the dining room chair over. Our chairs are from Ikea and aren't exactly sturdy enough to withstand intentional tipping. I was pretty proud of myself for taking the new highchairs from this...
to this...
After attaching one of the chair covers I realized that it was a pretty stupid move to add to my laundry pile, so I opted for the easy to clean, all wood option. They were a hit!
In other news, our camera's auto focus has stopped working. Our options are either to attempt to play professional photographer and use it on the manual setting or send it away for 6-10 weeks to be fixed (for a high price tag) and be left with our crappy and very slow point and shoot camera. It's beyond frustrating to go from having an automatic and instant picture taken to missing a great shot because of the speed of the camera. Just had to vent about that. These pics are my attempt at the manual setting.
