Owen seems to have taken claim to the little red car. Once he figured out how to get in and out of it, I think he assumes that it's his car. Eli can play with it, but that's the extent of Owen's generosity.

This is the first time that Eli figured out how to get in the car himself...

... You can almost hear Owen thinking "Uh, that's nice Eli, I'm really proud of you... but can you get out now?"

"Alright, if you won't get out, then I'm getting in! Who says this is a one-seater?!"

For the most part, Eli goes with the flow and just enjoys being around Owen. After a couple minutes though, I'm sure they both started feeling pretty claustrophobic because they both started panicking to get out - but they were wedged in there pretty tight! Mom to the rescue!
