Our local library has something called a Culture Pass that gets you 4 free admissions to the cultural venue of your choice. The Phoenix Zoo was available as an option, so we took advantage of a free morning at the zoo - a $64 savings! We have now taken the boys to the zoo in Pittsbugrh, Fort Worth, Detroit and Phoenix! My favorite part was feeding the giraffes, but I think the boys liked the prairie dogs and monkeys best (more their size!) I have Owen, my mom has Eli.
Afterwards we headed to a ghost town at the foot of the Superstition Mountains - a hike that Charlie completed about a month ago. The highest peak in this picture is the one that he hiked!
