Day 1 of travelling actually started last night. We drove from Scottsdale to Willcox, AZ and stayed there for the night. After the movers left (around 3:30), we will had some loose ends to tie up, so we didn't really get on the road until around 6pm. We had to make at least a little progress though or we'd never make it to Dallas on time for church so we could see most of our friends we had made.
On Friday we drove from Willcox, AZ to Van Horn, TX. It was a push, but we could have made it much farther if I hadn't forgotten my wallet in Las Cruces, NM and had to drive 30 miles west to retrieve it. I'm an idiot. But we got ourselves within 8 hours from Dallas, which was the best we could hope for at that point.
