HAPPY EASTER!!

Since my parents had to travel back to Pittsburgh for Easter, we decided to find the Easter baskets and have an egg hunt the day before Easter so they could be a part of the festivities. Charlie and I got the boys a new puzzle (since they are amazingly good at the ones we have) and a Little People book (their current and long-time favorite cartoon). They also got a few new cars, some books about Easter, fun size cereal boxes (a tradition from when we grew up!), fruit snacks and a few other little treats. They loved it!
On Easter morning, we took the kids to Elise and Kirk's church for breakfast and an Easter egg hunt. They were pretty excited to run around finding the eggs, but I think Eli was more interested in collecting the rocks for his basket than the candy! After the service and nap time, we had dinner with Elise and Kirk's friends and their kids and had a great time playing outside too. What a beautiful day to celebrate our Risen Lord!
