HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!
We had a blast trick-or-treating this year with the kids! Owen and Eli were monkeys and Garrett was a chicken - completely adorable! We went with our good friends, Greg and Jackie, and their kids, Noah, Lauren and Chase (he's the little lion following the boys around!). Owen and Eli weren't quite sure what to do at first, but after they figured out that knocking on a door produced candy... they were totally on board! If a house didn't have its lights on and we walked past it, Eli would point to it saying 'more house?' like 'c'mon guys, we're missing an opportunity here!' Eli has also been carrying Lightning McQueen around as a permanent appendage on his body and refused to put him down to trick-or-treat. As a result, he carried his car in one hand and his candy bucket in the other. At every house he would put his bucket down, choose a piece of candy, put it in his bucket, pick his bucket back up and turn around to go to the next house, all without ever putting down Lightning. It was hysterical. They were real troopers this year and walked the whole time and carried their own candy buckets too. They slept hard after all that walking! I can't wait until next year when Garrett can participate too!
