The Live Nativity was a success! We got to ride in a tractor, see animals, eat cookies and hear music, all of which was recounted to us by the boys several times on the way home and the next morning. The camel got a little rowdy and the wind was freezing (mental note: buy the boys winter coats!) but it was a perfect family outing to celebrate the season of Christmas.

This day has been the topic of quite a bit of story-telling in the four days since.

For example: "Twackta, two BIG camahs, dada, camah, E-Yi head, owwwee! (imitation cry) ... ducks, baby pigs, oink oink, a BIG cow, cookies"

Translated version: "We rode on a hayride pulled by a tractor, we saw two big camels with the wise men, then just outside the petting zoo, the camera fell off Daddy's shoulder and hit Eli in the head which caused him to cry. Then we did the petting zoo which featured ducks, baby pigs, a small cow, and like ten goats whose constant head-butting caused Eli to cry again... and then we capped it all off by having some cookies listening to Christmas carols before going home!"
