What a great morning for a picnic! The Grapevine Botanical Gardens are the perfect spot to sit in the shade to eat, play on the playground, feed the coy fish and, unfortunately (and temporarily!) lose a child. Eli was missing for about 3 minutes and when I found him he was just as scared as I was - hopefully a deterrent from wandering off again! Garrett ended up on the 'baby walk of shame' when I realized that I didn't have an extra outfit for him for the one blowout he's had in the last 6 months. Figures. Better take advantage of these days before we're consistently over 100 degrees for the duration of the summer!
