About halfway through the week, along the river bank, we noticed hundreds of tadpole. The day before we left, the first of them started to morph into tiny baby frogs that we could catch and hold. It's a good thing more of them didn't change into frogs while we were there or they would have been trampled to death by Owen and Eli! They loved holding them and letting them jump on their hands - and I have to admit, I thought it was pretty cool too! One of the cutest things was when Eli was holding a baby frog and went up to Owen, held Owen's hand open, and passed him the frog and told him to 'be careful.'
