After yet another night of Garrett waking up 3-4 times, I needed a break from the kiddos if the week was going to feel anything like vacation for me. Janet, Jenny, Toni and I found a camp near us that had guided horse back tours (an hour for $25!) and we were sold. Rip, Sassy, Buddy and JoeCloud were great companions and Mark was an awesome tour guide. I was right behind him and spent the whole hour asking questions about horses, guiding, his life and training and hearing stories about some crazy instances for him (like when his horse had an aneurysm and died while he was riding it). I went back to the house feeling refreshed from the break and like I was on vacation too!
