We enrolled the boys in swim lessons for two weeks while we were in Detroit. Unfortunately, there was a terrible thunderstorm that knocked out one day and the power was still out the next, so we missed a few lessons, but the boys made HUGE strides in being more comfortable with the water. They started out the first lesson, before entering the pool, excited about swimming, but that quickly turned into tears and clinging as soon as they realized I wouldn't be joining them. The tears decreased every day, until the last day when they willingly jumped in themselves! They were so excited to show me (in the bathtub!) that they learned how to put their heads under water. Yes!!
