Heading home! Thank goodness airlines still have mercy on parents travelling with little kids. They let Elise come all the way to the gate with me, then they let me load everything on the plane and come back for the kids. Smooth sailing! Garrett slept for an hour and a half and the boys watched a movie and ate snacks (including two huge free chocolate chip cookies, courtesy of the flight attendants). Charlie picked us up at baggage claim and we were a family, together again. It was a great trip, but it's always nice to be home.
