It only took me two months, but I finally got around to doing something with our mantle for the spring and summer and I'm really happy with how it turned out! The first picture is what the mantle looked like for Christmas and the others are how the items were rearranged/reused for the spring and summer. I made the wrapped wreath using satin floral ribbon and this tutorial for paper flowers. The wooden Easter eggs were painted by the boys last Easter and they'll make new ones again this year, as part of our tradition. The white pedestal frames were $.99 at Ikea(!) and the plastic Easter eggs are just to add a little color through the beginning of April. I think after that I'm going to add a paper leaf tree like this one from Pinterest in its place. It finally feels more like home again in our living room!
