The week with Grandpa was filled with lots of baseball... and I mean LOTS. It was almost 100 degrees every day so the games had to be pretty short, but they played multiple times every day. Owen wanted to hit with the wooden bat, which is obviously much harder to swing. He asked Eli if he could use his 'homerun bat' after too many swings and misses! Before every single pitch they would both hit the tip of the bat off the ground and say 'come on, home run. okay! I'm ready!!' Talk about a pep talk! : )
