Thankfully, all of Charlie's (local) family members had the day off on Monday, so we headed to the zoo to enjoy the beautiful weather and time together (that was NOT supposed to rhyme!) Remembering that Eli is scared of all animals, we didn't point many out, but he seemed more ok with the ones that he did see. Maybe the distance helped. In the video, you'll see that he loved the meerkats, and giggled every time they started digging. Finally! Maybe he's not destined to hate animals : )
Only in Pittsburgh would you see the Pens flag in with the penguins! 
These two animals were the craziest things I have ever seen! This first one was half octopus-half jellyfish (and was maybe one of the ugliest fish in existance!) and the second one looked like seaweed but was a fish. God's creativity amazes me!
