The boys and I met Jack for the first time this week. He's just over 4 months old and is the son of my college roommate Becky. It was great to catch up, even if it was only for a short while because of bedtimes, especially since neither of us live in Pittsburgh but it just so happened to work out that we were both in town at the same time. Spending time with old friends really makes me long for continuity in life, but at the same time, meeting new friends is how people get to be 'old friends'!
