We were feeling especially adventurous and decided to take all six kids to the zoo the day after none of them took a nap. Stupid? Probably, but it was free to get in with Elise's zoo pass and we gave it a try. We overstayed our welcome by about 45 minutes, but other than that, it was mostly a success. We walked through the zoo and took the train back, saving lots and lots of whining and crying from tired kids who didn't want to walk anymore. The animals were out and walking around and the temperature was pretty decent too (especially compared to Texas right now!) The frogs and penguins were the biggest hits, with the bears and giraffes close behind. Everyone slept pretty great that night for sure!
