Since the big boys are all really into Peter Pan right now, we threw a pirate birthday party complete with a pirate ship cake, treasure maps leading to their presents and a chocolate gold coin hunt. They had costumes too - which was pretty darn cute. Maybe cake right before bedtime was a bad idea, but everything else worked out great! With all the summer birthdays in this family, it was the perfect time to celebrate together.
