Happy Easter!
Today was a great day spent celebrating one of our favorite days of the year - the day to celebrate that Christ is alive! We started the day at church, then headed to our friends how for lunch with about six other families from our Sunday school class. We set up an Easter egg hunt for the boys and gave them their baskets - big hit! Owen and Eli's had lunch boxes for school, superhero t-shirts, hats for the summer, flavored straws for milk, a Thomas book and a dinosaur activity book. Garrett's had train tracks and a zoo train, wiffle balls, rubber ducks, a hat for the summer and play-doh. The boys all got mini cereals (a tradition from when I grew up) and an Imaginext Batcave to share. We painted wooden eggs, played with the new toys and read the new books for bedtime. What a great day!
