This is the family of the twin brothers that we sponsor through Compassion International. 

Their 6th birthday was in March so we sent an extra donation last month that amounted to about what we would spend on eating lunch out as a family. These are the letters we received back:

How happy I am to receive your wonderful gift you sent to me and my family. Stay blessed! Thanks to your gift my family bought: some detergent, spaghetti for Mommy's trade. For me, we bought: two dresses and two pairs of shoes, a (chalk)board, two plastic chairs, milk, sweets, rice, oil, corn and beans for consumption at home. Stay blessed! Elise

How happy I am to receive such a wonderful gift from you! May the Lord give it back to you hundred fold. We love having a picture of the family that's halfway across the world from us and so different in so many ways, yet similar in the ways that matter most - they love each other and they love the Lord. What a blessing!
